About the event
The Thredbo Alpine Museum is returning to the newly renovated Royal Australian History House
for our annual pre-season get together and talking about Thredbo - and its foundation and development from 1955-1961.
Presented by Greg Hughes, son of Geoffrey Hughes, who was a member of the original syndicate of four, along with Eric Nicolls, Charles Anton and Tony Sponar who established Thredbo. Based on documents including original letters and reports written between members of the syndicate as well as Board Minutes and reports, which were retained by Geoffrey Hughes.’
